HOW DO I SETUP A COMPETITION
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
Each school may only have one Chapter participating in competitions.
Individual Events – Each Chapter / School / Advisor with a competition group can have up to 3 individuals in each of the events listed under individual events.
TXPSTA INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
- Opening Statements – each school 3 persons max
- Closing Statements – each school 3 persons max
- Fire Search and Rescue – each school 3 persons max
- Booking Procedures – each school 3 persons max
- Bunker Gear – each school 3 persons max
- Misdemeanor Traffic Stop – each school 3 persons max
- DWI Investigation – SFST’s and Proper Handcuffing - each school 3 persons max
- Accident Investigation – One Officer filling out the CR3, Making Sketch and writing a short narrative of what happened. each school 3 persons max
- Fingerprinting - each school 3 persons max
- Law Enforcement Obstacle Course - Male - each school 3 persons max
- Law Enforcement Obstacle Course - Female - each school 3 persons max
- Firefighter Agility Course – Male – each school 3 persons max. Bunker Gear is required.
- Firefighter Agility Course – Female – each school 3 persons max. Bunker Gear is required.
TEAM EVENTS
Team Events – Each Chapter / School / Advisor with a competition group can have a maximum of two (2) teams in each team event.
TXPSTA TEAM EVENTS
- Felony Traffic Stop – Maximum of 2 Teams per school ( 4 students per team)
- Building Search – Maximum of 2 Teams per school (4 students per team)
- Domestic Crisis Intervention – Maximum of 2 Teams per school (2 students per team)
- Firefighter Agility Course (4 member team) – Bunker Gear is required.
- Cell Extraction (6 Members)
- Honor Guard (4 Members)
- Crime Scene Investigation (Evidence Collection) (3 Members)
- EMT Response (4 Members)
- ERT -Emergency Response Team (6 Members)
